Çağatay Güney was born in 1973 in Ankara. After graduating from METU, Department of Political Science and Public Administration in 1995, he completed his master's degree in Organizational Development and Change Management at Bowling Green State University in USA. After 11 years of working as a consultant and manager in the field of Human Resources in major organizational change projects and company mergers in US , Güney returned to Turkey. After working in senior management positions in institutions such as ToyotaSa and Deloitte in Turkey, Güney founded HR consultancy servises comany HRSquare in 2012.
Güney, who is also the founding partner and member of the Board of Directors of Peoplise, providing award winning software for Smart Recruitment and Analytical HR management, is a member of International Investors Association , Turkish Industry and Business Association and Illinois State Business and Employment Development Board of Directors.
Çağatay Güney, who gives trainings in the fields of Strategic HR, Workforce Analytics, Individual Differences, Self-Knowledge and Leadership, has published historical adventure novels "Lupo's Name" and "Lupo's Choice". He is married and has a daughter.
