Born in Ankara, Mrs. Duygu Erzurumlu Cengiz earned her bachelor's degree from Gazi University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration, and her MBA from the University of Lincoln.

Her first business experience was in the finance sector during her college years. In 2000, she began her human resources (HR) career at Petrol Ofisi. She was a manager at various levels of the company's HR operations for 19 years. Since 2019, she has continued her career as the CHRO of Akkök Holding and its energy subsidiary, Akenerji, and as a Board Member of other group companies Dinkal, Akhan, and KidZania.

Throughout her career, Mrs. Cengiz has focused on developing and implementing HR policies, organizational development, and industrial relations. She has also led numerous projects related to strategic business management, employer branding transformation, corporate communication, and social responsibility, emphasizing empowering women in the business world. Recently, she has devoted a significant portion of her time to the "Women Energy" project, developed as part of Akkök Holding's policy to increase female employment in group companies, and employee brand activities.
