ESAS Deputy Chairman of the Board
Emine Sabancı Kamışlı, Founding Partner of ESAS, has served as Vice Chairperson of the Board of Directors since 2000. She is also the leader of Esas Social, a successful example of social impact investment in Turkey. With a strong sense of social responsibility, she leads sustainable and measurable social initiatives; inspiring many with her achievements in the areas of "Youth Employment," "Equal Opportunities," and "Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion," acting as a thought leader.
After graduating from the London School of Economics in 1987, she began her career in London at the Willis Corroon reinsurance firm. Between 1989 and 2000, she held Executive Board and Commercial Director positions at Aksigorta, Akhayat, and Sabancı Holding.
She is a Board Member of the Turkish Business Women's Association (TİKAD) and TİKAD Investment Inc. As Vice Chairperson of the Board, Emine Sabancı Kamışlı supports women's entrepreneurship and angel investor networks, and has been a member of the Citi Private Bank Europe Advisory Board since 2015.
Featuring appearances on publications such as Fortune and Forbes' "Most Successful Businesswomen" lists, Emine Sabancı Kamışlı has been recognized as a pioneering leader in the "LGT Guide to Strategic Philanthropy" for her achievements in philanthropy, and has been named a "Sustainability Leader" by Fast Company for three consecutive years.
