Nursel Ölmez Ateş, a graduate of Istanbul University's Department of Industrial Engineering, has been actively pursuing her professional career since 1995.

She began her career at Migros Türk T.A.Ş. as an assistant specialist in the Methods Organization and Planning Department. She worked as a manager in the R&D, Planning, and Project Management departments.

In 2003, she was appointed as the Deputy General Manager responsible for Human Resources and Administrative Affairs at Ramstore, one of Migros' international operations. In 2008, she continued her career as the Director of Human Resources and Corporate Communications, first at Koçtaş and then at Ford Otosan. Since March 2018, Ölmez Ateş has joined Borusan Holding as the Group Head of Human Resources and Corporate Communications. She is an experienced HR professional who has performed human resources functions in a broad range of sectors.

In line with her contributions and work in the field of sustainability, Nursel Ölmez Ateş expanded her responsibilities as the Group Head of Human Resources, Communications, and Sustainability at Borusan Holding as of July 2022.
