Acar Baltaş

Founder of Baltaş Group and Psychologist

He is one of the pioneers who showed that there is a solution to these problems. He introduced the concepts of stress and body language to Turkey together with Prof. Dr. Zuhal Baltaş. Acar Baltaş, who completed his secondary education at Istanbul Boys' High School and his higher education at Istanbul University, Faculty of Letters, Department of Psychology, completed his doctoral studies on "higher brain functions" at the Department of Neurology, Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty. He received his Doctor of Medical Sciences (M. Sc. Dr.) in clinical neurophysiology in 1981, became an Associate Professor of Applied Psychology in 1986, and a Professor in 1996. He worked at the Department of Neurology, Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty between 1977 and 1997. Since 1983, he has been giving seminars, conducting applications, and writing books, combining his knowledge in the fields of communication and medical psychology with the needs of business life. Between 1996 and 1999, he served as the psychological counselor for the Turkish National Football Team, and during the 2002-2003 season, for Galatasaray Football Team, a role he continued with the Turkish National Football Team in 2005. As a child and young adult, he was involved in swimming, water polo, and football; at the age of seventeen, he began working at the Veliefendi Hippodrome; and through various roles such as hotel receptionist, presenter, disc jockey, tour guide, and teacher, he gained experience in different aspects of life, learning to respect the efforts of those who perform seemingly ordinary jobs. He is married to Prof. Dr. Zuhal Baltaş and is the father of two children.
