He received his bachelor's and master's degrees from the Department of Civil Engineering at Middle East Technical University and began his career as a civil engineer. He transitioned to the professional services sector in 2008.
To date, he has conducted numerous fraud investigations, consulting on local and international commercial disputes, compliance (bribery, corruption, and competition) investigations, and insurance recovery investigation projects. He has provided expert opinions in litigation related to commercial disputes and fraud cases, served as an expert witness in international commercial and investment arbitrations, and presented written and oral defenses of expert reports to relevant panels.
He has conducted various consulting projects in numerous countries, including the US, Russia, France, Greece, Romania, Azerbaijan, Serbia, Albania, Moldova, and Cyprus.
He has extensive experience in a variety of sectors, including construction, tourism, retail, media and entertainment, healthcare, manufacturing, sports clubs, and telecommunications.
He also served as a Board Member during his sixth term.
