He graduated from the Department of Maritime Transportation and Management Engineering at Istanbul University in 2000. He then completed his Master's degree in Production Management and Marketing at Marmara University and his Master's degree in Business Administration at Istanbul Technical University in 2016. He received his Doctorate in Business Administration from the Department of Management Engineering at Istanbul Technical University (ITU) in 2016.

In 2007, he worked as a Business Development Manager at Istanbul Sea Buses (IDO) for five years and played an active role in the privatization process of IDO.

From 2014 to 2016, he served as Director of the YTU Technology Transfer Office (TTO) and Deputy General Manager of YTU Technopark, providing consulting services on the establishment of numerous TTOs and technoparks.

From 2017 to 2023, he served as Advisor to the Rector, TTO Director, Department Head, and Assistant Professor at İstinye University.

From 2018 to 2022, he served as Deputy General Manager responsible for R&D at Teknopark Istanbul.

In August 2023, he was appointed General Manager of the Boğaziçi University Technopark. In addition to this role, he was appointed Director of the Boğaziçi University Entrepreneurship Application and Research Center in February 2024.

He currently teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in R&D, Technology Management, and Entrepreneurship at numerous universities and serves as a mentor for numerous technoparks and startups.
