Chairman of the Board of Prozon Corporate Technology Solutions
Born in 1979, Bora Ekmekci graduated from Istanbul Technical University's Department of Architecture and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Programming at Biruni University.
He began his career in 2003 as a member of the founding team of idefix, which revolutionized Turkey's e-commerce ecosystem. With support from the Turkish Foundation for Turkish Language Associations (TTGV) and the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK), he launched Turkey's first e-book project, becoming a pioneer in digital publishing. He continued this vision with Prefix, Turkey's first online book distribution platform, and Sabit Fikir Magazine, a magazine renowned for its cultural heritage.
Following the sale of idefix to D&R, he became D&R's E-commerce Director, and during this period, he was part of the team that brought the global e-reading giant KOBO to Turkey.
In 2016, he and Gizem Özen founded Proventus Consulting, and in 2020, they added a new dimension to their entrepreneurial journey by founding the technology company Prozon Corporate Technology Solutions. Prozon's E-Reporting Optimization and Incentive Portal reached over 80,000 companies. Subsequently, they created an innovative and comprehensive alternative in HR technologies with Prozon Payroll and Personnel Software, which consolidates payroll and personnel processes under one roof.
Today, Prozon leads the development of the Performance, Competency, and Training modules, the new component of the HR ecosystem. He also contributes physically to the technology ecosystem through innovative projects such as consulting for Technoparks and R&D processes, EU project management, and the construction of Technopark buildings using a build-lease-share-transfer model.
Bora Ekmekci, who has served as a project referee in various Technoparks, also occasionally writes sectoral articles for T24 and other media outlets. He is married with three children.
