Ata Selçuk

Mentor and Advisor

Born in 1967, Ata Selçuk completed his undergraduate degree in Business Administration at the Middle East Technical University.

Selçuk began his professional career in 1989 as Product Manager at Düzey Marketing, a Koç Holding company. From 1992 to 1999, he held various positions at Abdi İbrahim Pharmaceuticals in the fields of marketing and sales. In 1999, Selçuk joined the Eczacıbaşı Group as Marketing and Sales Manager at Eczacıbaşı Pharmaceuticals Marketing. He served as General Manager of Eczacıbaşı Health Services from 2004 to 2008 and as General Manager of RTS Renal Treatment Services from 2008 to 2009. From 2009 to 2017, he held the position of Chief Innovation and Sustainability Officer at Eczacıbaşı Holding, and from 2017 to 2020, he served as Chief Human Resources and Sustainability Officer. In these roles, he integrated innovation and sustainability into corporate strategy, led HR transformation initiatives, and was recognized as one of Fortune Turkey's "50 Most Influential CHROs" in 2018

Ata Selçuk has been giving lectures on sustainability and innovation at METU and Bilgi University and while also serving as trainer and consultant in marketing, innovation and sustainability. Selçuk is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Istanbul Modern Art Museum, a member of the advisory board of the Faculty of Business Administration and the Graduate Programs Institute at Bilgi University, and a member of the advisory board of the İnci Foundation.
